As I was sitting in the sunshine at Le Man pondering life and it’s……STOP PRESS…

We have just received an urgent phone call from Sir Who Should Be Obeyed (Mr Bank Manager) and we are afraid that we have been instructed to include “car stuff” in this months feature and to remind the Bugatti loving public that, as a business, we do indeed work on the beautiful, noisy, oily things occasionally! We do apologise for the change in programming, here follows a short interlude….(…run iffy musak…)…..

Parts

The T51 blocks are now available and ready for sale and for T55 with hardened valve seats for unleaded fuel. We only have one of these left from the first batch, the second batch of 6 will be ready for April / May, please place your orders now as we don’t know when the third batch will surface!

At long last, production T46 blocks are now available, (after many moons in the prototype stage!) again to order only, unlike the T35 blocks that are generally available off the shelf as it were!

The next batch of T35 blocks will be ready after Christmas, the present batch are all sold. These blocks can also be produced with hardened valve seats; however, we need to know before machining, as the process is slightly different.

We are also offering uprated sets of GP gears featuring a better material specification and using an improved heat treatment process.

And don’t forget our fixed price items…

An overdrive for the T44 at £2,500 fully fitted.

An overdrive for T57 - £2,800 fitted to the gearbox.

Pre season check for GP cars - £600 incl parts.

A special methanol SU carburettor for use on supercharged GP cars - £2,500.

Etc, etc.

Bodywork

As seen at Beaulieu last month, we now produce a simple but complete GP “Peel type” body-kit for the bargain price of £1,800. We have photos and details of the bodywork to view for potential customers, please call for more information.

Sales

On the sales front, we have sold all the cars that were currently on our books but as always, we still have a fair few customers looking !! We also have a beautifully restored, fun, little Bebe Peugeot that runs very sweetly for £16,000 and a tad smaller, though only just, is an 8 cylinder Scintilla MN8 magneto for a type 51.

Again, many apologies for the above interlude but Mr B.M. deserves some payback (HE feels) and so “we who but obey” have no other option but to comply….BUT…..sshh, come closer, I shall say this only once…
