Bugatti Type 37

Grand Prix car first owned by Richard Noal then sold to Jim Fielding in 1930, who developed the car over the next five years achieving the fastest time ever at Shelsley Walsh for a 1 1/2 Ltr 4 cylinder Bugatti of 44.6 seconds.

As an engineer by trade throughout this period he kept a meticulous record of all the work he undertook on the car with hand drawn sketches, notes each time the car ran and the results. At Brooklands it clocked 107mph at the Easter Meeting in 1935.
