Toolmaker / Specialised No 1 Engine Builder to supervise Engine Workshop

Job Description

We require a number 1 engine builder well versed with vintage or historic engines, knowledge of Bugatti is not essential but will require basic tool making skills using lathes and milling machines, as well as surface grinding. The role will be a practical hands on with some supervision.

Will need to be able to machine parts to drawings or samples, assemble sub components and build up into engines.

Would be useful to have skills in silver soldering and engine dyno test running.

Salary up to circa £36,000 to £38,000 including a 10% monthly bonus.

Flexi-time hours of 80 hours in two weeks, working hours between 7am and 5pm, 80 hours can be worked over 8 to 10 days within the two week period.

28 days holiday including bank holidays.
